What is eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM that eliminates the need for a physical SIM card. You can even store multiple eSIMs on the same device and use two phone numbers at the same time. And it’s more secure – someone can’t remove the physical SIM card if your smartphone is lost or stolen. In just a few simple steps, you are ready to make calls, send messages, and browse the web.
ESIM is available on compatible devices for all DOCOMO PACIFIC mobile plans (postpaid and prepaid). Devices must be locked to DOCOMO PACIFIC or unlocked to successfully activate eSIM.
Activate eSIM on your device
please visit a DOCOMO PACIFI retail store. to obtain a QR code that allows you to activate your eSIM.
You will need a Wi-FI or cellular connection to activate eSIM. Then on your device:
- 1. Connect to the internet
- 2. Open your camera
- 3. Scan the QR code and follow the activation prompts
Remember to please retain all activation paperwork and QR codes to assist in troubleshooting or in the event of a SIM replacement.
Other ways to activate
iPhone
On your Apple iPhone device:
- 1. Connect to the internet.
- 2. Go to Settings > Cellular
- 3. Select Add Cellular Plan
- 4. Scan the QR code provided to you from DOCOMO PACIFIC
- 5. Follow the instructions on your device to activate a plan.

Having trouble scanning the QR code? You can add your eSIM profile manually.
- 1. Follow the initial steps related to your device to add a cellular/mobile plan,
- 2. Select Enter Details Manually
- 3. Enter activation information as outlined on the receipt from DOCOMO PACIFIC.

Samsung Smartphone
On your Samsung Galaxy phone device:
- 1. Connect to the internet.
- 2. Go to Settings > Cellular or Connections
- 3. Select SIM card manager
- 4. Select Add Mobile Plan
- 5. Select Add Mobile Plan
- 6. Scan the QR code provided to you from DOCOMO PACIFIC
- 7. Follow the instructions on your device to activate a plan.
